Premiere: The Skints – ‘Short Change’ EP

Listen to it now...

Whilst it might be summer outside, the sun is certainly beginning to pour down upon the Clash office.

And that means one thing and one thing only: the Clash reggae collective gets unearthed, dusted down and blasted out for all to hear.

London collective The Skints caught out attention long ago, with their socially conscious brand of punk-infused reggae matching roots wisdom to capital sensibility.

New EP 'Short Change' follows a hectic touring schedule and the band definitely entered the studio with a point to prove.

Opening track 'The Cost Of Living Is Killing Me' (watch the video HERE) is a blast against austerity, while 'Break Me Down' utilises the guest vocals of Jovel aka Random Impulse. Final track 'Broken Hearted' is a soulful, downbeat ode which manages to find light amidst the gloom.

'Short Change' EP is set to be released on March 31st.
