Leave everything at the door / Leave everyone at home / Empty your mind, empty your mind...

FM Belfast are on a mission to be different, to be themselves. The Icelandic group's live shows are a collision of sweat, glitter and glistening melodic hooks, while their studio output is rarely anything other than fascinating.

Debut album 'How To Make Friends' established the band as a cult entity, while follow up 'Don’t Want to Sleep' was a 2011 breakthrough of sorts.

New album 'Brighter Days' is another fascinating instalment from their utterly unique universe. All bright light and good vibrations, FM Belfast introduced the record with a simple statement: "We hope it will brighten up your days and adds colour to whatever you are doing."

It certainly does that. Out on April 25th via World Champion Records (pre-order the album HERE), you can listen to 'Brighter Days' first on Clash.
