Disciples are a fresh voice for British music.
A London based trio, the group combine vocalists with producers, fusing styles, genres in the process.
New single 'They Don't Know' is out now, an explosion of colour and energy. Rapidly gaining some serious hype, Disciples seem to have arrived with a distinctly original and totally contagious identity.
Clash invited the trio to craft a shortlist playlist, focussing on songs they couldn't live without, the sort of thing they'd take to a desert island with them.
Here's what they came up with…

Rui Da Silva – 'Touch Me'
Gavin – This was the record that made me fall in love with dance songs. The dark, hypnotic synths along with Cassandra's haunting vocal are a match made in heaven. It's a record that takes you on a journey and will never feel old. We could play it in our set today or in ten years time and it would still work. You feel like you are in Ibiza whenever you hear this!

Booka Shade – 'In White Rooms'
Gavin – This is one of my favourite dance records ever made. The first time I heard this in a club, I thought my life had changed (cringe), but musically, I guess it had. Everything about this record made me want to learn more about it and get into and explore music production. It just felt like a record that was extremely well put together.

The Martinez Brothers – 'Do That Two'
Luke – From the branding, to the DJ sets, down to the music they are creating, these two are showing the scene why they will be around for a very long time. Their whole concept feels exciting and I like how they blend their hip-hop influences into their music and style; they're not an act to pigeon hole. They are definitely an act we respect and we admire what they are doing.

Daft Punk – 'Around The World'
Duvall – This set the world alight with a clever vocal hook and groovy bass line. It's something I feel our Single "They Don't Know" has in common. Daft Punk brought something exciting to dance music for me . Their awesome disco samples and loops and their robot image grabbed me like "wow what is this?" It felt so fresh and still does to this day. Truly a timeless record for me.

Notorious B.i.G – 'Big Poppa'
Duvall – This is a perfect wind-down tune after a hectic rave-filled evening. It was the perfect 90s Hip-Hop track. Just loved everything about this from the video to his laid-back flow. This song appealed to everyone and it had such a universal appeal. It felt like a anthem and still does.
