The poster boys of nu-rave, the Klaxons wisely took time out after their ‘Myths Of The Near Future’ debut album to let the hype die down before announcing their return with a second album ‘Surfing The Void’.
Crystal Castles – Celestica
Former 8-bit scream merchants, Ethan Kath and Alice Glass, have gone all melodic on this first taster from their forthcoming new album, again self titled.
Apache Beat – Tropics
This New York band have their debut album ‘Last Chants’ in the bag with a release date yet to be announced but a new single ‘Another Day’ is due out on July 7th.
Io Echo – Addicted
Pop fact about the Los Angeles band, their guitarist Leopold Ross co-composed the score for the Densil Washingtoon clunker ‘The Book Of Eli’.
A Grave With No Name – Stone Setting
A Grave With No Name is centred around songwriter Alex Shields with ‘Stone Setting’ appearing on their ‘Mountain Debris’ album released on the No Pain In Pop record label in November 2009.
