In Association With Ellesse

To celebrate their transatlantic collaboration ‘Keep Up The Bad Work (Remix)’, East London’s Murkage Dave and Queens, NYC’s Lansky Jones are joining us for our next Clash Live event with Metropolis Studios on 26th September.

The pair recently joined forces for a new track that will appear on the forthcoming special edition of last year’s ‘Murkage Dave Changed My Life’, the debut album from the Clash Next Wave talent. Set for release on 13th June the repackaging includes a number of exciting collaborations, including Stones Throw signee Peyton, South London’s JGrrey, grime MC Lioness, New York rapper Jeff Donna, vocalist/producer NARX and Brighton hip-hop duo Frankie Stew and Harvey Gunn.

Leading the release is the Lansky Jones-assisted ‘Keep Up The Bad Work’, a fresh take on a fan favourite, and the Metropolis Studios show will mark the first time they’ve performed together and the first time they’ve actually met in real life!

"We're from different cities and we make different sounds, but when we express ourselves me and Lansky Jones are saying a similar thing,” says Murkage Dave. “We speak a lot online about music, masculinity and fried chicken sandwiches, but yet we've never met each other before. Looking forward to having Lansky in London town where we will perform both of our albums and the 'Keep Up The Bad Work' remix that we collaborated on."

Well known for his work as a member of Queens collective World’s Fair, Lansky Jones will be opening the night with tracks from his solo album ‘Dangerfield’, which demonstrates his penchant for introspective storytelling via a palette of gritty NYC rap.

The set will be followed by a rare opportunity to see Murkage Dave in an intimate setting in his hometown, performing songs from his acclaimed debut album as well as giving ‘Keep Up The Bad Work (Remix)’ its live debut.

Ellesse will be working closely with all artists to customise and create product bespoke for each of our Autumn performers as part of our continued collaboration with the brand.

The first 100 people to RSVP via the form below will get spaces on the guestlist for them and a friend to attend and a free drink courtesy of our friends at London Fields Brewery, The show is 18+
