MADBALL Livestream Broadcasting From The Underworld, Camden On 20th October

In Association With Brooklyn Brewery & Hotel Radio

Earlier this year the first Brooklyn Sound tour brought Mutoid Man for a series of raucous sold-out shows. Followed up in July by the transfixing and hypnotically flawless stage craft of Sunflower Bean, packing rooms to their rafters.

A series of sold-out shows across the year hosted at some of the finest independent music establishments on the planet. Hats off to the good folks at Brooklyn Brewery!

The final Brooklyn Sound tour of the year rightly takes us out on an NYHC high. None other than legends of the hardcore scene Madball are heading to the U.K for a series of intimate shows hosted at four of the countries finest independent music establishments.

If you weren't lucky enough to secure tickets to the upcoming tour dates we have you covered. Clash will be hosting the mighty Hotel Radio live stream from The Underworld, Camden right here and via our Facebook page – so you can turn your living rooms into the pit and join us from the comfort of your home.

The stream will go-live at 9.00pm UK right here. Set a reminder here for the facebook stream.

Ahead of that here is a quick recap.

Madball have been tearing up stages for 26 years and counting as a recording and touring entity. One of New York City's hardest grafting and most prolific recording outfits. Throughout their storied history since first EP 'Ball Of Destruction' dropped back in 1989 and their formulation as a virtual Agnostic Front side-project, Madball have been carving out their own chapter in the hardcore hall of fame and annals.

Last year saw the release of the much lauded ninth aural chapter in their catalogue 'For The Cause'. An arsenal of their signature sound street-level, groove laden NYC hardcore. Produced by Rancid's Steve Armstrong, featuring cameo appearances from Psycho Realm's Sick Jackens, The Business' Steve Whale and legendary emcee Ice-T

Re-focusing the same mission statement they embarked upon, one man tornado and lead vocalist Freddie Cricien sums it up neatly:

"If you're not fighting for a cause, you're not participating in life. Simple as that. Speak up, fight, educate yourself, make a difference and make sacrifices for what's important to you."

Authenticity and culture are also central to everything Brooklyn Brewery undertakes. The brewery's programme, Brooklyn Sound provides music fans with insight into New York’s thriving subcultures and the sounds that fuel them.

It works as a platform for some of the leading protagonists to perform in the UK. Dedicated to host a diverse array of bands from the neighbourhood back in front of intimate, high octane audiences and inside some of the most exciting independent music venues around the UK.

Because these are the places that bring cities to life, bring new and eclectic music to the forefront of people’s minds and these are the places that have been supportive by pouring Brooklyn Brewery beers for so long. It’s simple; it’s not about trying to change the face of music, it’s about producing shows the way they should be done.

The tour kicks off at The Cluny 2 in Newcastle on the 17th of October, taking in Temple Of Boom in Leeds on 18th October, and then rolls onwards to The Phoenix in Coventry (19th October), before culminating with a very special finale in the belly of the beast at The Underworld, London on the 20th of October. All shows sold out instantly!

See you on the road!
