Two seasons in at Fashion East and just announced as a recipient of CFE’s New Fashion Pioneer programme – alongside Liam Hodges, A. Sauvage, Studio XO, Faustine Steinmetz and Mariana Jungman – Louise Alsop is on to something.
“I want to design real clothes that people want to wear. That’s the dream,” she told Jessica Bumpus for our AW14 fashion special (here), while her self appointed design signatures include layering, graphic prints and sheers.
Adding a girlish vibe (read: a fluffy blue headband) to the traditionally raw Louise Alsop aesthetic, Clash Fashion Editor (and Alsop’s show time stylist) Lola Chatterton above shoots the designer’s AW14 collection, while below we asked the Westminster graduate her last five….
