KDA’s New Year Playlist

Rising producer picks out some party gems...

New Year's Eve tends to split punters down the middle.

Simply put: people hate it, and some people live for it. But with 82% of you apparently making plans for New Year's Eve, it seems to be a tradition that is holding firm.

Rising producer KDA is set to play the Analog party this New Year, performing in London's Scala. The bill is jam-packed with treats, and looks to be the perfect way to say farewell to the old year, and hello to the new.

Ahead of this, the reclusive beat maker agreed to share his New Year gems.

Orbital – 'Chime'

Because it’s best house record of all time and i think as an industry we’re all pretty much agreed on that.

– – –

Arttu ft. Jerry The Cat – 'Nuclear Funk'

There is no bigger fan of Arttu than me! I’ve not seen a dance floor his music doesn’t work on.

– – –

Kenlou – 'Banging'

Again I’m such a MAW fan that any list I’m asked for has to include them. Big room house before Fisher Price got involved, Scala’s gonna shake hard to this one.

– – –

Riton – 'Rinse & Repeat'

It’s NYE and this is a fresh banger from one of the best in the business. It’s just a TUNE.

– – –

Roisin Murphy – 'Evil Eyes' (Catz 'N Dogz Remix)

Her album, her remixes, she can do no wrong and neither can Catz ’n Dogz. All my mates are still playing this, highlight of the year.

– – –

Andid – 'Retroflection'

Because even if it’s NYE I don’t wanna not play properly, I love this – has a track ever sounded more Mobilee?

– – –

PMX Soundz – 'My Soul' (What Ever Remix)

When you play this to a few thousand people you know about it, such a dark horse moment. Slick AF.

– – –

Drum Talk – 'Lose Again' (ft. Josa Peit)

This sounds AMAZING in a club. At the right moment, on the right night… like Analogue NYE!

Analog takes place at London's Scala venue on December 31st – tickets.
