Mercury Prize-nominated fellow Jamie T brought his UK tour to a close last night (June 24) at London’s Electric Ballroom, and Clash was down with camera in hand to see what went down. Some sweat, it seems.
The singer is set to follow up his celebrated ‘Panic Prevention’ debut LP with a second, ‘Kings & Queens’, in the autumn – taken from it is new track ‘Sticks ‘n’ Stone’, available as a single on Monday (June 29). Check out its video HERE.
Quite brilliantly, the new album features a track called ‘Chaka Demus’. What about Pliers? That’s discrimination… probably. Jamie plays London again on July 1, at the Roundhouse.
