The cartoon band, the creation of Blur front man Damon Alban and cartoonist Jamie Hewett, were joined by Mick Jones and Paul Simonon for the gig, The Clash icons currently members of the touring incarnation of Gorillaz.
Soul singer Bobby Womack, who appears on ‘Stylo’ and ‘Cloud Of Unknowing’ on the ‘Plastic Beach’ album, also guested at the gig at the MEN Arena, midway through their World tour.
