At Sunday’s MTV Video Music Awards, designer Jeremy Scott announced he would be collaborating with Miley Cyrus at New York Fashion Week.
Coming just a fortnight before ‘fashion month’ kicks off in the city, Scott told MTV “Miley and I have something very exciting we’re brewing up for the future,” later suggesting he would let her make the full announcement of what to expect.
Sharing a similar ‘in your face’ aesthetic, the predominant view appears to be of a perfect pairing.

On Wednesday meanwhile, Game of Thrones actress Sophie Turner followed in co-star Kit Harington’s footsteps, as she was confirmed as the face of a fashion label.
British brand Karen Millen released ‘The Journey’, a two-minute clip that shows Turner travelling across London to the sound of Elastica’s ‘Connection’, announcing the new AW14 campaign.
Styled by Katy England and directed by Glen Luchfod, you can watch the video here.

Lastly, the latest of Miu Miu’s ‘Women’s Tales’ was debuted yesterday in Venice, directed by Miranda July.
Number eight in the ongoing series of female directed short films commissioned by the label, July’s ‘Somebody’ accompanies an app of the same name, developed in partnership with Miuccia Prada’s brand.
While you can watch the film here, the ‘Somebody’ app (downloadable here), allows people to communicate with friends via total strangers. As shown on camera, users type a message and directions of how to read it, which is sent to someone geographically near the person it’s meant for.
