Following whispers last month that she was to front the brand for AW14 (reported by Clash here), this week Topshop officially announced Cara Delevingne as the face of their new ad campaign.
Traditionally fronted by several girls, Delevingne’s celebrity has proved enough for her to go it alone, as the images released this week show.
Said campaign evokes a similar mood to Kate Moss’s collections for the label – incidentally the model Cara is so often likened to – while styling takes a ‘classics’ approach, with an LBD, skinny jeans and khaki parka all making the cut.

Also releasing their latest campaign this week was Whistles womenswear line.
Shot by Clash favourite Jamie Hawkesworth, the AW14 imagery was shot around the Barbican complex in east London, the notable concrete space (and additional foliage), the preferred backdrop to highlight key pieces of navy and lavender.
Styling was provided by the CLM signed Sara Moonves, while Drake Burnette – of Larry Clark’s ‘Marfa Girl’ – models.

Finally, Swedish label Cos this week confirmed a new store to open at London’s One New Change this autumn.
The sister brand of H&M, Monki and & Other Stories, Cos first opened up shop in the UK back in 2007 with a store on Regent’s Street, and has continued to spread its wings ever since.
The newbie – in the centre designed by French architect Jean Nouvel, nearby St Paul’s cathedral – will cover a 300m² space and sell both the mens and womens lines.
