Headlining Clash’s latest Clash Club event on the 17th December, Supergrass return to the fray to promote their ‘Diamond Hoo Ha Man’ release and treat us to some past classics.
Despite recent troubles, Mickey suffered two broken vertebrae and a broken heel while sleepwalking out of a first floor window in France, the band have still managed to produce what looks likely to be another stomper of an album.
Gaz said: “The Diamond Hoo Ha Men name came from a dream. There’s no logic to anything we do – you know that. But what we love about our new record is that it’s full of energy and excitement; something we really wanted to capture for the songs we’d written. It was recorded in a deliberately short space of time in order to try and achieve this freshness and feeling of spontaneity. But, we love all our records equally, like our children, it’s just a case of what the fans and critics decide are their favourites.”
Held at Madame JoJo’s in London town, the evening also features support from Eight Legs, Pan I Am and the Clash Djs.
Although the event is now sold out you can attend thanks to our latest competition.
To win one of three pairs of tickets for the event tell us the name of Supergrass’ last album…
Stayed tuned to ClashMusic for an exclusive sneak peak at the new single from December 17th.
