An emphatic alt-pop talent, the Irish newcomer is bold in her ambition, and exquisite in her execution.
A flurry of singles saw her sign a major label deal, with surprise new EP 'When It Comes To You' sketching out her journey.
Out now, it blends all-too-relatable lyricism with glorious pop elements, matching her over-sharing life observations to lush layers of colour.
She describes: “‘When It Comes To You’ is a collection of songs about love, mostly about questioning relationships and feelings and being young and feeling things very intensely. Being 22 now, I’ve realised I fall in love fast and a bit too much, but I wouldn’t change it. The EP reflects on that I think, and the songs capture a time in my life from 2020 to now. It was written throughout lockdown and finished recently, I’m so happy for it to finally be out.”

BOOKS…
My favourite book is Norwegian Wood by Haruki Murakami, I’m also reading Dance Dance Dance by him right now. It’s a stand out to me because his writing is just so beautiful and almost lyrical, it’s so visual and gets me emotional every time I read it. It definitely inspires me to think about different words for song writing and makes me think of feelings and emotions to do with love and relationships.
FILMS…
Speaking of Murakami, I just seen Drive My Car in cinema recently which is based on his short story, and it was one of the best films I’ve seen in a long time. The cinematography is so beautiful and the colours throughout are so standout, the red car and lack of colour everywhere else. It definitely made me think about relationships and how people act. There was a part where one of the characters says something about the wife’s actions when she cheats on her husband and it stuck with me.
Also the new Batman is incredible and once again the whole colour scheme really stood out to me, I think use of colour is so cool in movies.
TV…
I haven’t really been watching a lot of TV lately but my favourite TV shows are Love by Paul Rust & Judd Apatow, and maybe Master of None. I also recommend people watch Normal People and behind her eyes because they have Irish actors hehe (I’m Irish).
GADGET…
My gadget recommendation is an app recommendation – the app Procreate, or Picsart aoo if you don’t wanna pay for Procreate. I literally use Picsart to make so many edits for my music and visual art stuff, it’s so fun and I spend hours on it making stupid collages and stuff.
You can really do a lot on a free app – I recommend it to anyone who likes making graphic design stuff etc.
MUSIC…
I've had an album called 'Nothing Gold Can Stay' by Jimi Somewhere on repeaaaat for the last few weeks.
We worked together in a session and I had never heard his music but it’s just really really great and I've really fallen in love with the album. It really stands out to me because it’s the first time in ages I’ve found a new artist that really truly is doing his thing and is true to his heart about what he’s making. The whole world he’s creating is really inspiring and has already inspired me creatively 100%.
I also have to mention Charli XCX’s news album 'CRASH' of course because she’s incredible and this album is just her pop star extravaganza moment, and it’ll 100% influence me.
