A robotic, bleep-happy dancefloor trip
ClashMusic Dj Mix Podcast - Djedjotronic

Djedjotronic firms up a robotic, bleep-happy dancefloor trip for the latest Clash DJ podcast.

Sitting perfectly amongst the rugged club sounds of Alex Ridha’s label Boysnoize Records, French producer Djedjotronic, aka Jeremy Cotterau counts Jean Michel Jarre, Model 500, ‘Mad’ Mike Banks, Drexciya and classic Warp sounds amongst his influences, and as you might expect from that list, the result is chunky electro-funk with a tough techno edge to it.

His Clash podcast delves into exactly the kind of jagged electro that you’d hope for from such a producer, but Cotterau also throws machine-funk and heady club moods into the mix, busting out a bit of raw techno along the way.

Wolfram, Miss Kittin, Lando Kal and Nautiluss all feature in the mix, and you can also catch a few exclusive gems in there, in the form of an unreleased track by Djedjo himself and one by Boysnoize labelmate SCNTST, ‘Trippiz’.

Djedjotronic’s ‘Kaiko’ EP is out now on Boysnoize Records.
