Rashid Ajami has always liked to travel.
Flitting between London and New York, the producer has built up a curious catalogue, releasing cuts on everyone from Anjunadeep to Get Physical, amongst others.
No wonder it's difficult to pin down his sound. Loosely pegged as deep house, Rashid's productions lean on the darker side, offering crystal-tinged electronics with a dubbed out flair.
New cut 'Night Prayer' is out now, and it's a deeper than deep, soulful piece of house music built for a wee, small hours.
Available on Noir Music, Rashid is set to toast this new release with a special mix for Clash. It's much as you would expect – tastefully pieced together, the jackin' rhythms are built up into a heady, atmospheric brew.
