My Nu Leng is a pivotal name in UK music. Emerging from the labyrinthine club networks that permeate Bristol, the pair fuse club flavours – leaning on bass music, techno, and house – to forge their own unique blend.
So far, it’s all worked perfectly. My Nu Leng are adept at crafting impeccable club heaters, with new single ‘Satellites’ lighting a fire under those weary Autumnal limbs.
Leaning on their breakbeat influences, it’s a moody surge of system engineering, recalling those early Hemlock Recordings releases. Out now, the release is being handled by Wavelengths, the duo’s new cross-media platform encompassing a label and a monthly residency at Bristol’s seminal Thekla club.
Alongside this, My Nu Leng return to Clash for an exclusive DJ mix. Laden with club flavours, it contains some of 2022’s defining records, ranging from Leon Vynehll to Boddika via Joy Overmono and even a blast of Mall Grab.
Alongside that, you can expect sub-low abstraction from Scottish producer Proc Fiskal, and even some vintage Pearson Sound / David Kennedy (under his earlier Ramadanman moniker).
