Living, working and recording on the island, the hedonistic atmosphere allowed the producer space to try out fresh ideas.
After a short break, a slew of new material arrived earlier this year on Outcross Records. New album 'Night Drive Without You' drops tomorrow (December 11th) and it's a sizzling, up front return from the producer.
The disco-tinged material has a frisky edge, one that nods towards the roots of house while absorbing the sheer colour of pristine French Touch.
Crafting an exclusive mix for Clash, Miguel Campbell leaned heavily on his own productions – expect a few hints from 'Night Drive Without You', some remixes and more than a few surprises.
