So when the label announces a new signing, it's well worth keeping your eyes and (more importantly) ears open. Rising producer Kant inked a deal with the imprint earlier this year, delivering supple new single 'Night Call' in the process.
Rooted in a delectable groove with shades of 2-step's clarion call, 'Night Call' was a sizzling opening gambit from an artist with near boundless energy.
Stepping up to the plate, Kant has agreed to deliver the latest instalment of the Clash DJ Mix. The producer's name is half-inched from Danish, and actually means 'edge' in the Scandinavian tongue.
Well, expect plenty of edge from the off. Laden with colour and no small degree of bass, Kant's mix explodes with energy but is constructed with obvious care and intelligence.
