Northern Ireland's electronic music scene has always been compact, yet enormously creative.
Recently, though, a fresh energy seems to be blowing across the northern counties. New names are emerging, each with their own vivid take on what club culture could be.
AVA Festival, then, could not have come at a better time. An exposition of new electronic talent, it gathers some of the most sought after names in Northern Ireland and pits them against international talent.
