As band names go, Blindness is fairly unforgiving.
But then, so is their sound. Essentially psychedelic in nature, this is the dark side of the trip. All feedback driven guitars, Industrial tones and black-as-night production, Blindness are a nimble, edgy take on that early Nine Inch Nails sound.
New single 'Glamourama' is a case in point. Essentially a synth-pop track with the volume pushed high into the red, the single is out now through Club AC30. Clash have been handed a remix, with Deep Cut taking hold of production duties. No shrinking violets themselves, the results are pretty devastating.
Adding a severe crunch to the original, the new version of 'Glamourama' stretches out beyond the six minute mark.
