It’s been noted that the Sibling trio like to collaborate, from Bernstock Speirs bows to Tatty Devine bangles; “It’s like finding the perfect boyfriend or girlfriend,” Cozette McCreery told Clash last year, around the time of their Kookaï Paris hook up (here).
For the label’s latest partnership, Cozette, Sid and Joe have teamed up with Baby-G – if you were looking close enough you will have witnessed the capsule collection’s premiere at Sibling’s AW15 catwalk show during London Fashion Week, McCreery wore one to take her bow (too).
“The strap is a printed adaption of our exclusive AW15 fair isle pattern in Sibling Pink, a colour used with great effect since launching in 2008,” she explains. “The watches (white base and black base) are fun and colourful, summing up the Sibling and Baby-G aesthetics perfectly.”
“Now in its 21st year, Baby-G’s retro futurist look is more relevant than ever,” adds the brand’s Hannah Rowe. “We love what Sibling do immensely as they have the same charm, individuality and playfulness as Baby-G.”
Following an initial collaboration with Baby-G’s sister brand G-Shock in 2012, the new offering is just the start of this new relationship: a commercial collection is set for release next season.
