Album Stream: Sorren MacLean – ‘Winter Stay Autumn’

An artistic triumph...

Sorren MacLean has been making music since he was a child.

A dexterous multi-instrumentalist, the songwriter has displayed admirable depth. Throwing himself into any challenge placed in his path, the singer is perhaps best known through collaboration with fellow Scottish artists Colin McIntyre and Roddy Woomble.

The Hebdridean talent remains, however, deeply independent. New album 'Winter Stay Autumn' was written for – and performed in concert alongside – a seven piece band, and it's perhaps Sorren MacLean's most ambitious work yet.

A wonderful return, the record has a rare sense of poetry, the subtle and supple arrangements matched against the warm hues of Sorren's voice.

Out today (June 8th) you can stream the record first on Clash thanks to this handy Spotify widget.
