Ady Suleiman closed 2015 in fine style, completing a run of sold out shows as the hype gathered behind him.
New single 'Running Away' could be the moment it all explodes. Out on June 10th, it's a summer-tinged banger that retains the grit that has made Ady so beloved by fans.
A man of broad tastes, Clash tasked Ady Suleiman with reviewing this week's singles.

Dua Lipa – 'Hotter Than Hell'
The steel drum vibes are cool and she’s got a dope voice for sure. The hook is solid and a mix of some interesting genres, but personally it's just not for me. I feel like I heard it before…

Nathan Sykes – 'Give It Up'
I love the melodies and vibe in pre-chorus, I actually kinda fuck with this. It grooves nicely, the pre-chorus is definitely where it's at. The production is probably too clean cut for me but definitely a vibe. Would pass this on to a friend for sure.

Secret Company – 'Midnight Rush'
Feels very cinematic and makes me think of driving late at night. Have you seen the film Locke with Tom Hardy? That would be a good sync for this or even the film Drive, I love that film. I rate the ending where it picks up and I imagine these guys putting on a special live show.

David Guetta – 'This One's For You'
I mean this really ain't for me, makes me feel a bit dizzy. I couldn't listen to it all. At best you could put it in a Fast And Furious film when they’re racing around Dubai.

Elle King – 'Under The Influence'
This is my favourite so far, her voice is doooope. The record sounds great, feels authentic and is soulful. It’s feels like a cross between a cinematic James Bond record and a country western, which I like.

Delta Goodrem – 'Dear Life'
Yeah it's a good song. It wouldn't be in my personal record collection but I appreciate it for what it is. Again I do feel like I have heard it before but that’s not always a bad thing.
