Sheffield post-rockers 65daysofstatic want your help – for a brand new remix!
Returning with their album ‘We Were Exploding Anyway’ 65daysofstatic have ended a three year wait for new material. A ferocious blast of ideas, it is a triumphant mixture of rock and electronics.
But this ain’t no Pendulum style mash up. 65daysofstatic retain the forward thinking thrust of electronic music, while adding in a little rock muscle.
Now you can get involved in the band’s new album. In co-operation with SoundCloud the group have decided to give away the stems from their track ‘Crash Tactic’ inviting fans to remix it as they see fit.
Fans submit their entries on SoundCloud, with 65daysofstatic personally choosing the winner. Amongst the prizes on offer are:
– signed copy of ‘We Were Exploding Anyway’ on CD and LP
– 65daysofstatic t-shirt
– exclusive ‘We Were Exploding Anyway’ test pressing of the LP (only 5 in existence)
– guestlist entry to a 65daysofstatic show
– SoundCloud Pro Plus account (worth €500)
