WAH Nails and Patternity both in line for a day at the park.

Nearly two years in, east London’s Boxpark continues to play host to a wide variety of events, parties and boutiques. The latest to make a pit stop in Shoreditch comes courtesy of digital specialist Luma, in the form of Yr.

The Yr Boxpark space features a selection of interactive touch-pods, plus the world’s only live all over digital printing process creating one-off patterns and prints for designers and aspiring creatives alike.

In town ‘til mid-September, tomorrow sees Sharmadean Reid’s WAH girls takeover the space. The nail art supremos – who held a place at the pop-up mall ‘til recently – will be on hand for one day only to help fans who wanting to use their patterns for tees, crop tops and bandanas. Plus they’ll be painting nails, of course.

On Saturday it’s Patternity’s turn. Founded in 2009 – similarly to WAH Nails – the pattern specialists will be shaking up the aesthetic of the space by creating ‘inspiration windows’, while on Friday (30th) there will be a full on worskshop. For those who see more than just a plate of food when looking at their dinner, this could be the day you find your calling. Perhaps.
