Weekly Wishlist: The Great Frog’s Alphabones

Easy as TGF...

Good spelling is a fashionable skill to have. It helps us distinguish our Elsa Schiaparellis from our Proenza Schoulers and Brunello Cucinellis. As a team of self-confessed cultural elitists with a penchant for luxury goth jewellery here at Clash HQ, we take pride in three simple things, good styling, good spelling and skeletal accessories. That’s why The Great Frog’s Alphabone pendants have been pinned to the top of our office Christmas list, yes the full alphabet, not just one letter if you please.

Not only does the Alphabone collection have a fun name, (Alphabet-bones, get it?), it has a great origin story too. The London-based designer and founder, Reino Lehtonen-Riley, was designing a V pendant for his daughter Violet’s third birthday, and became inspired to continue with the rest of the alphabet. If there’s one thing we love more than rock ‘n’ roll jewellery, it’s a wholesome origin story.

Each piece in the Alphabone collection is hand carved in wax before being created in gold and silver, and priced between £95 and £320.
