While outside the weather might not support such purchases, indoors shops and online retail agencies are slowly stocking up with Autumn Winter 14’s favourites; Palaska is one of ours.

Made of wool and polyamide jersey by the label Les Benjamins – the creation of one Bunyamin Aydin – the Palaska jacket boasts a selection of textures (evidently) and exposed zips (a brief punk echo), across a subtle navy canvas.

With a further nod to fisherman jumpers and donkey jackets, plus a slight schoolboy sensibility too – each by way of colour association – this Les Benjamins’ piece covers most ground, but manages to come out not an ugly mash up of male jacket trends, indeed, quite the opposite is true.
