In exactly one week's time, Versus Versace – the 1989 founded debut diffusion line of the then Gianni Versace fronted Versace house – will show its new collection in London for the very first time.
Presenting from the capital, fans across the country (and beyond!) will have the chance to watch first hand as Anthony Vaccarello makes his debut as creative director for the label via a special live stream on the brand’s website; the semi-elaborate countdown for which Versus is hoping will inspire anticipation for the main event (easily done).
Vaccarello – who claimed the title three months ago – has already presented one Versus collection, as part of the label’s on-going capsule collections, a la J.W. Anderson, Christopher Kane and M.I.A., but AW15 will mark his first as a piece of the Medusa clad furniture. An online preview so far promises black leather, metal and tartan.
In keeping with the brand’s very 21st century ‘show now, buy now, wear now’ concept, the full collection will be available to purchase immediately after the 8pm show. Best get 14th May in the diary…
