Trapstar Links Up With ADWOA To Carve A New Path For UK Streetstyle

Bridging the gap between the current and next wave of UK-based designers, the pair deliver a gritty, grunge-tinged collection.

ADWOA and Trapstar are combining forces for an exclusive capsule collection, asserting their vision for contemporary streetwear once more.

Incorporating hints of grunge, the collection explores edgy, distressed patterns across a series of denim pieces, tracksuits, tees and hoodies. Freshening Trapstar’s signature ’T’ logo with bold, embroidered ADWOA graphics, each garment juggles between past and present influences.

Founded in 2008 by Mikey, Lee and Will, Trapstar has become a unique figure within street style, adopting a more versatile approach over the years. Spotted on the likes of all-round icons A$AP Rocky, Rihanna, Jay-Z and Drake, the brand has travelled from west London to the global mainstage. Despite their breakthrough, the trio continue to focus on their relationship with local communities and the music scene, championing the likes of Central Cee, Stormzy, Dave and more. In turn, ADWOA represents the next wave of streetwear designers, channelling a rebellious, gritty energy which has received co-signs from UK rap risers Lancey Foux, Nemzzz and high-profile footballers Paul Pogba, Eddie Nketiah and more.

Through collaboration, Trapstar and ADWOA strengthen their artistic direction further, fostering a connection between fashion mainstays and newcomers.

The collection will be available for purchase on April 19th via
