Timberland Unveils Two New Colourways Of The Original Yellow Boot
Timberland has unveiled new colourways of their iconic Orignal Yellow Boot for 2023. Founded in Boston in 1952, Timberland has remained one of the most celebrated and coveted outerwear brands of the last 70 years. When Timberland Chairman Sidney Swartz debuted the Original Yellow Boot back in 1973, famously built from 39 components and constructed through 80 individual steps, he championed the shoe’s durability and craftsmanship. The boot soon became the very heart of the brand and Swartz saw the shoe’s potential in the mainstream. By the 90s the boots became a staple on the U.S. hip-hop scene, immortalising the min lyrics before the fashion crowd soon followed suit, granting the Orignal Yellow Boot a permanent place in pop culture and streetwear history.
Today Timberland launches the new Bold Beginnings campaign, as they debut two new colourways of their iconic 6-inch boot: a two-tone boot for men with both black and neutral sections and an all-neutral, oat-coloured boot for women.
The new iteration of the Orignal Yellow Boot for 2023 is made with 25% Regenerative Leather, responsibly sourced from farms committed to regenerative agriculture practices on top of the original’s seam-sealed waterproof construction, Primaloft 90% insulation, durable rubber outsoles for traction and anti-fatigue comfort footbeds.
The collection will be available from January 31st at timberland.com
