Theory’s Spring 2023 collection is a tale of uniform and chic ‘90s minimalism through textural exploration and fabrics. Creative director Jeffrey Kalinski delivered an array of soft tailoring and wardrobe staples to the tune of ‘God Only Knows’ by The Beach Boys.
Set in a delicate spring palette of soft greys, navy blues, cream, black and white with shimmering silver silhouettes, Theory’s Spring 2024 collection builds a perfect uniform wardrobe of staples and transitional seasonal pieces.
Theory balances typical notions of masculine and feminine for the more conservative elements of the collection with crisp, cropped button-downs, polo shirts, pencil fits and pleated trousers in monochromatic layering in delicate tailoring fabrics of linen, silk, twill, crepe and merino knits. Elsewhere, the most exciting elements of the collection come alive in delicate prints and glittering silver looks. Sasha Pivovarova closes out the show in a quintessentially ‘90s look with a three-piece fit in a shining silver finish.
