London band don some denims.

'Dragging punk in to the next generation' is how The Howling's Facebook bio reads, and we're inclined to suggest this might just be the case. Made up of Blacky, The Rev, Chappell, Jackyboy and Grimes (in no way a second Ms Boucher), the London five piece have been holed up in Great Eastern Studio recording their debut album since the latter part of 2012. We gatecrashed the party and handed out some Levi's-some people deliver beer and crisps, we work in jeans-the aim to see exactly how this rock n' roll band dons their denims.

Our conclusion? Like the greats before them, black leather jackets, black hoodies and black motif tees remain the go to get-up. As The Rev puts it, "'Levi's 501s are the perfect studio jeans for me to pin roll, kick off my shoes and chill out in whilst jamming some riffs." Well, if the glove fits.
