Shoreditch store launches pop-up shop and new collaborations to welcome in fifth anniversary

Boasting monochrome by the bucket-load and the cutest birthday cake Clash has ever laid eyes on (think pink velvet, white chocolate fingers and good fonts), The Goodhood Store's fifth anniversary party saw east London's coolest gals and guys descend on Coronet Street, en masse.

With a new shop space to celebrate turning five-politely situated a minute from the original store-for the first time ever Goodhood have created their own products in the form of a bandana patchwork pillow, laser cut skateboard, white tees, a tie dye tee, cups, totes and a deliciously printed umbrella (pyramids and palm trees galore). Opening its doors back in September 2007 at No.41 Coronet Street, The Goodhood Store began life as a self initiated, self funded project with an idea to curate a selection of the finest collections on the globe from like minded brands. The selling point rests on its quality, independence and ideas of exclusivity. Today it carries a vast range of products from brands such as Dr. Martens, Junya Watanabe Man and British Remains.

Alongside their own-brand products, the anniversary range has hook ups with Great River, Norse Projects, Antipodium, R.Newbold, Knight Mills, Bag 'N' Noun and Dog State; sticking to a black and white colour scheme the collection features rugs, rings, hats, bags, tops, jackets and dresses. As co-owner Kyle Stewart puts it, "The Goodhood Store was born out of a design background so we wanted to celebrate by creating must have products with many of our suppliers." Launched during the London Design Festival, "it was natural for us to want to be a part of it," says co-owner Jo Sindle, the pop-up shop will stay put 'til October 24th while the range is also available on the store's site.
