The brands drop a new five piece collab.

Five bags – five diverse calls of duty – one aesthetic: that’s the thinking behind Stone Island’s latest collaborative project with Japanese brand Porter.

Claiming a solid focus on heritage since its launch in 1962, the Yoshida & Co owned label makes for an ideal partner alongside the Italian menswear brand, the latter’s own contemporary offerings the product of a distinct lineage.

Comprised of the so-called essentials – a briefcase, document case, tote bag, backpack and weekend bag – the smart line-up boasts Stone Island’s ‘Radiale Esploso’ at its core; the latter word referencing the treatment highlighting the grain of the underlying fabric and adding ‘a special patina to the surface’ (fact fans, you’re welcome), the former a nod to its integrity.

The resulting pieces, pictured above, provide then a cool alternative to any monogrammed luggage that might be clogging up the downstairs cupboard.
