Stone Island Unveils An All-Star Lineup For Its ‘Community As a Form Of Research’ Project

Shot in the Italian streetwear brand's latest collection, the campaign welcomes Noel Gallagher, Peggy Gou, Sage Elsesser and Russell Tovey.

Unveiling its Autumn Winter ‘024-‘025 , Stone Island continues to strengthen its Community with an all-star research project.

Founded in 1982 by Italian designer Massimo Osti, the luxury streetwear brand lends its focus to fabric technology, innovation and design. Across its history, the brand has shared a unique rapport with culture, spanning the underground to runways whilst upholding a slick, practical image.

In turn, the research project fuses the worlds of music, fashion, film and art in unexpected ways, allowing for Stone Island to reach into new pockets of creativity. Created in the presence of the forward-thinking Philippe Starck, artist Alexandre Diop, parkour athlete Davide Garzetti, photographer Liam MacRae, music producer Axl Beats and graphic designer Yoshirotten, the portrait series snaps its talent against a minimal, clean backdrop. Welcoming its first-ever female Community member, DJ and producer Peggy Gou is photographed by David Sims wearing a down blouson made in a 100% recycled nylon rep. Experimenting with resin treatments, the ultra-light jacket is defined by its crinkle aspect which creates texture, warding off the wind and light showers across its travels. Elsewhere, British actor Russell Tovey previews Ghost outerwear, a key capsule that leans into camouflage and monochrome palettes.

Bouncing back from the news of an Oasis revival, Liam Gallagher is captured in an archival, two-tone jacket made up of cotton canvas. Finished with a thick matter PVC coating, the piece identifies the classic elements of Stone Island, strengthening the label’s bond with the Britpop icon. Concluded by fellow musician and skateboarder Sage Elsesser, known to the masses as Navy Blue, the artist sports a hooded jacket constructed of polyester mesh with a semi-floss transparent film.

Each occupying a lane of their own, Stone Island presents ten, snappy questions to its cast, revealing their process, life lessons and essentials.
