Spector x Topman: #OPENSHOOT

The four piece are next up for the brand's open call project.

Following the glowing successes of its hook up with Ghostpoet, today Topman has announced a second open shoot project, this time in collaboration with the band Spector.

The four London boys who once sang of a grey shirt and tie (see Fred adhering to at least one of these in the press shot above) are looking for fans and creative types alike to decide the aesthetic of their next video, via the paint by numbers simplicity of tagging ideas on Instagram and Twitter with the hashtag #OPENSHOOT.

“Normally we only get to make videos to songs we’re releasing as singles, so when Topman offered us the chance to make a video for one of our favourite album tracks we jumped at the idea,” they say.

“‘Kyoto Garden’ was the last song we wrote for the record and it’s one that means a lot to us – we can’t wait to get fans input to help inspire the direction of the video.”

Alongside social media, image/film/illustration hopefuls can upload their entries directly to the Topman website (below), any time between now and 3rd May; the finished video goes live on 5th June, so get them stylistic juices flowing asap.
