Real Madrid Team Up with Y-3 on The Matchwear Collection, Available Exclusively At Flannels

Navigating between luxury fashion and sport, the collection merges the innovative forces of Yohji Yamamoto, Adidas and Real Madrid.

Bouncing back from their recently dropped Travel collection, Real Madrid and Y-3 are merging forces once more.

Finding a balance between luxury fashion and sport, the two collaborate on a functional yet slick Matchwear collection. Across a series of shorts, anthem jackets, t-shirts and hoodies, the forward-thinkers reflect on the history of Yohji Yamamoto, incorporating his signature rose motif throughout. Along his journey, the Japanese designer has become an emblem of avant-garde tailoring, founding Y-3 in 2003. Since then, Yamamoto has developed an organic relationship with athleisure kingpin Adidas, providing a new vision for the pitch and beyond.

The latest collection pays close attention to detail, elevating its accessories through scarves, socks and an exclusive run of Predator, the brand’s highly sought-after football boot. Captured by London-based photographer and filmmaker Gabriel Moses, the collaotation is presented by a lengthy list of high-profile players; Naomie Feller, Jude Bellingham, David Alaba, Dani Carvajal, Eduardo Camavinga, Kathellen Sousa, Misa Rodríguez, and Zinedine Zidan.

Strengthening the three-way partnership between Yohji Yamamoto, Adidas and Real Madrid, the Matchwear collection shoots and scores.
