Titled the ‘Ice Cream’ pack on account of its pastel palette – do you see coconut sorbet and mint choc chip or is it just us?* – Puma’s latest collaborative streak sees them hooking up with alternative sports label ICNY.
The second partnership between the two, this season the Ignite runner series claims the transformative title, presented here in full ICNY appropriate reflective materials; founded in 2012, the label is a product of designer Michael Cherman’s cycling close calls, the answer to his cycling at night woes.
The new shoe – produced only in the two aforementioned colourways – also boasts an Ignite foam outsole. A technical highlight of the celebrated running shoe, the foam both disperses impact forces and delivers a specific responsive energy.
Released next month – the 12th – from a selection of retailers such as Oki-ni and Foot Patrol, you can likely expect its attendance at London Fashion Week.
*Puma actually sees chocolate chip cookie dough but whatevs, right?
