Pretty Green has teamed up with emerging rockers Balancing Act for its latest collection.
Founded in 2009, Pretty Green has established itself as an emblem of street culture, fusing together the worlds of British fashion, music and lifestyle. Across its latest work, the brand captures the essence of indie-era nostalgia, transitioning between bright summer tones into rich, autumnal palettes.
At the collection’s core is the ‘Sundown’ print, a groovy, psychedelic offering inspired by seasoned graphic designer Leif Podhajsky. Placed over a water-resistant and breathable soft shell, the label pieces together a versatile, practical piece that weaves between day and nightwear. Elsewhere, the collection incorporates shades of teal, orange and burgundy over the brand’s classic paisley pattern, utilising a range of cotton nylon blends and corduroy.
The launch is soundtracked by the rough acoustics of Balancing Act, an outfit recognised for their buzzy, feel-good live shows. Made up of vocalist Kai Roberts, guitarist Jackson Couzens, drummer Pat Hanbury and bass player David Carpenter, the London-based group are candidly shot across urban landscapes. Leaning into the band’s synergy, the new collection develops a refreshing, charismatic energy that situates Pretty Green in fresh, up-and-coming spaces.
