JP Cooper's music seems to connect with people.
The rising songwriter recently sold out five nights in London, with each performance bringing with it a different crowd.
The common thread between these performances? The intimate nature of JP Cooper's music.
New EP 'When The Darkness Comes' is out now, a collection of superbly hewn vignettes. 'Closer' is rooted in fact, with JP Cooper addressing his longing to be with his infant son.
Director Drew Cox was struck by the track, and has constructed a short film based around it. Only part of it is the official video, with the visuals touching upon male mental illness, the loss of a child and the need to communicate.
Featuring a superb turn from Nicholas Pinnock in the central role, this is simply incredible.
