The ease of Dauwd's arrival seemed to belie the enormous time the producer spent honing his craft.
Raising in Wales and now based in Berlin, Dauwd gained almost immediate approval from the likes of Benji B and Jamie xx, with his dynamic UK-centric sound butting its way onto dancefloors.
Since then, though, the producer has further explored his roots in house and techno, developing a fluid, inspiring sound.
Working with Kompakt, the producer is set to release new three tracker 'Jupiter George'. Clash is able to premiere 'Take Four', a piece of bouyant, jazz-tinged house which rides an infectious breakbeat.
Early 90s vibes abound, with Dauwd lending some vivid colour to his productions.
