Percival has unveiled a football-inspired collaboration with British sportswear label Umbro. The latest in a long string of partnerships from the British menswear label, Percival x Umbro further explores Percival’s commitment to subverting the tone of classic menswear as they enter a more playful arena with Umbro.
The capsule is heavily influenced by 90s football culture, updating Umbro’s classic sportswear pieces with Percival’s elevated, minimalist menswear influences and vintage, tonal colour palettes. ‘PERCIVAL’ is stamped below the iconic Umbro diamonds in a unique dual-branded logo that features throughout the collection.
A range of ready-to-wear including shorts, polos and sweatshirts ensures something for everyone on the pitch and on the sidelines.
“Whether it’s football, futsal or rugby, come rain, hail or shine, relegation or promotion, you’ll find the double diamond,” said Chris Gove, founder and creative director of Percival. “We couldn’t not celebrate the mediocre skills of our five-a-side team, and there are no easy games at our level.”
