Tomorrow, longtime collaborators Nike and Ambush are set to launch their newest venture, a feminine collection with high-octane clubbing energy, built of sporty apparel and footwear for football fanatics.
Yoon Ahn, a frequent Nike collaborator and the creative director of Ambush, infuses the collection with a dynamic approach to sports culture and self-expression through ultra-feminine pieces for infinite mix-and-match options.
Ahn explains “Fashion is an incredibly powerful form of self-expression — it can be used to express identity, beliefs, and personal style,”
“This collection has diverse elements that you can dress up and down to express masculine and femme energy through the eye of sport, and I’m excited to see how people will create their own unique style interpretations with the pieces.”
A gritty campaign starring girl-of-the-moment Gabbriette showcases the collection and takes us from the pitch to the club. The three-piece collaboration consists of a classic black football jersey with colourful accents and a bright ’34’ illuminated in the centre (a Nike x Ambush signature), a bespoke Nike x Ambush Air More Uptempo Low silhouette with a luxe leather upper and the original graffiti-inspired branding, rounding off the collection with a disco-inspired metallic silver football.
The collection is available on August 4 on Ambush, SNKRS and at select Nike retail stores.
