New Balance And Stone Island Collaborate On Football Collection
New Balance has partnered with Stone island for a special edition football collection that channels the rich heritage of the Italian sportswear brand through classic New Balance pieces.
The highly anticipated collaborative collection has been teased on the pitch in recent months, with Raheem Sterling and Bukayo Saka testing the Furon v7 football boot and rapper Dave debuting the collaborative football kit at the Santan Cup tournament in Brazil back in September.
The new Furon v7 boot is truly the star of the collection, crafted in a bespoke, custom camouflage that pays homage to Stone Island’s famous archival pattern and features a Stone Island compass alongside the New Balance logo. Redesigned with an innovative Hypoknit upper, mesh lining and off-set lacing to deliver impressive support, the shoe is an evolution in soccer footwear.
Another shoe from the collection, the classic 574 Legacy from New Balance, has been given a subtle modernised update with a ripstop and suede upper in dark green for a deconstructed archive-inspired look.
The full collaborative kit features a new jersey and shorts, outfitted with an original Stone Island camouflage pattern inspired by the brand’s archival designs and a silicone application of the iconic compass logo. Both pieces are made entirely from recycled polyester.
The collection is available exclusively on stoneisland.com from November 21st, and globally on newbalance.com from November 25th.
