Located east of Carnaby Street, Soho’s Newburgh Quarter boasts shop spaces from the likes of Billionaire Boys Club and Red Wing, Levi’s Vintage Store and Cubitts.
Tomorrow – for one day only – the area hosts The Refinery, a celebration of the respective roads complete with street art, masterclasses and free food and drink; essentially it’s another reason to shop, but with the bonus of all round good vibes making the task a genuinely pleasant experience.
Being the fun time fam it’d have us all believe it is, Lazy Oaf is naturally taking part with two one off workshops at it’s Ganton Street store: Clay Club sees ceramic artist Charlotte Mei share the know how behind her skills, while Lizzie King follows with a piñata how-to.
Both classes are free, working on a first come first served basis with just 12 spaces each; Mei will be taking charge from 12-2 while King is in the hot seat 3-5. Names for each will be noted in-store from 10:30am.
Word on the street is the best clay creation bags a £50 Lazy Oaf voucher; elsewhere south London folks Wavey Ice will be on site selling their unique boozy ice pops (the absolute dream), and the shop’s going in for a beach front mini-redecorate. Did someone say inflatables?
