Known primarily for his work as a writer and editor, before trying his hand at directing, music production and DJing; Japanese polymath Kunichi Nomura can also be spotted in small cameos for Sofia Coppola’s ‘Lost In Translation’ and Wes Anderson’s ‘Isle of Dogs’ and ‘The Grand Budapest Hotel’. This season Nomura is collaborating with Carhartt WIP for a two-piece capsule collection of day-to-night workwear suits. Presenting in three different colourways, the collection combines relaxed Carhartt WIP silhouettes with refined tailoring from Nomura.

Described by Nomura as “Yin and Yang. Night and day. S&M. Work and play”, the collaboration delves into the duality of streetwear and tailoring. The campaign features friends and collaborators of Nomura, and is shot by his longtime friend Seija Fujii.
