Ksubi Brings Outlaw Style To The Streets In Its Coolest Campaign Yet
Pioneering streetwear and denim brand Ksubi has released a Western inspired capsule for AW24. Titled ‘This Is Not A Rodeo’, the collection brings outlaw cowboy culture to the forefront with a range of washed and embroidered denim looks.
Consisting of 21 pieces spanning menswear and womenswear, the collection features new styles alongside classic pieces from the Ksubi archives that have been reborn with a rugged and rebellious spirit. Ksubi’s Oh G Jacket, Anti K and Bronko denim have been hand embellished with intricate Western detailing, and raw-cut applique. Womenswear denim like the Low Rider and Soho style have been given decorative inlay finishings and bold designs like a denim halter and boxy shirt have been enhanced with rugged hardware and Western-inspired detailing.
Two handcrafted cowboy hats are the standout pieces from this collection, designed in collaboration with Australian hatmakers BxmBxm. The hats feature hand-shaped crumpled brims, hand-stitched accents, and Ksubi’s signature distressed and box cross hardware, both are available in an extremely limited supply.
The campaign from photographer Hugh Lippe emphasises the outlaw sensibilities of the collection as models in full cowboy gear traverse the streets of Manhattan in a fully urban and modern environment.
