Kim Jones Presents a Collaboration Worth Tuning In for with Dior and Stone Island

The collection has launched exclusively at Selfridges.

At a time when fashion collaborations are in abundance, it takes something truly special to stand out. One of the most exciting facets of the industry is the opportunity to see a partnership between two unexpected designers, and that’s what we have this week as Dior Men’s Creative Director Kim Jones introduces a partnership between the French Maison and Italian streetwear and outerwear brand Stone Island. 

Designed by Kim Jones, this collaboration presents a balance of sophisticated luxury from Dior and high octane functionality from Stone Island. An exercise in fine craftsmanship and playful tailoring, the collection displays Kim Jones’s signature layering and ornate detailing on Stone Island’s distinct utilitarian designs. 

The famed Stone Island compass rose appears on badge-like labels akin to Stone Island’s own aesthetic and finds its way embossed onto leather bands surrounded by a Dior logo. A warm and earthy colour palette of grey, brown and mustard yellow welcomes the cohesion of traditional pieces and contemporary layering and styling as Jones plays with house codes for both brands. 

The Stone Island x Dior collection is now available exclusively at Selfridges, and will launch at Dior boutiques and at dior.com from Thursday 4th July.
