Gasius: Atomic Cats & Dogs

What the tin says.

Founded in 1993 under the moniker The Gasface, Gasius (2k15) boasts a leftfield skate aesthetic not dissimilar from Sofia Prantera and Fergus Purcell’s Aries line for women: both excelling at randomly placed motifs and monochrome cotton goods, the respective websites distinctly non-commercial.

For its latest collection, the Stussy collaborator presents ‘Atomic Cats & Dogs’, a streetwear take on the kids TV show CatDog (not according to the press release), available at independents of the Goodhood, Hanon and Wellgosh variety.

Here the pizza researching designer places cat and dog emblems across tees, sweats, joggers and caps, the label’s upside down moniker fronting several garments. The accompanying look book and video, produced by Peach Fuzz, throws a nod to both rave culture and performance art; watch the latter here.
